Our Technology - Needs Nationwide... Road Tankers Northern - needs nationwide: Customer satisfaction is our first concern at Road Tankers Northern, whether utilising chassis from our own stocks or utilising customer supply. All vessels are designed and weight calculated to customers' exact chassis and wheelbase requirements. A quick turnaround is our aim - delivery can usually be achieved within five weeks. All tankers are completed to your menu of equipment, only the best suppliers in their field are employed, such as: Drum Engineering - for bottom loading and vapour recovery Alpeco/Mouvex - for meeting systems Slytone Group, George Mellor, Alfons Haar - for Pump Pto equipment Scully - for high level detection equipment Willcox - for hose equipment Tankers are built to customers own specifications, but the end product is suitably reinforced to accommodate adverse road conditions associated with delivering to remote rural areas. Customer peace of mind is achieved by overnight spares replacement. Customers are also supplied by a local network of distributors for associated tanker supplies. RTN provide some £250,000 "off the shelf" replacement parts on a 24 hour delivery. RTN, also uniquely stock some "near obsolete" parts, helping to keep older tankers operational. Changes are taking place yearly and RTN are aware of Irish ADR regulations, which are slightly different to UK specifications. All major chassis suppliers liaise with RTN's drawing office and all vehicles built comply to chassis manufacturers' build specification manuals.
